One of the toughest steps towards recovery from addiction or mental illness, is the very first one. You are not alone! I am here to help you to take that first step toward change.  I have found that holistic (body, mind, spirit, and emotions) mental health and drug and alcohol treatment services can help individuals and families find healing and achieve greater health and wholeness, resulting in changed lives. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing space for you to explore and better understand your feelings and emotions, ways of thinking, and patterns that create difficulties in your lives.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families. I typically utilize Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts and techniques. MBCT combines mindfulness techniques like meditation, breathing exercises and stretching, with elements from cognitive therapy to help break the negative thought patterns. It has been rewarding and effective to utilize a holistic approach to healing and recovery, focusing on the connection between the spiritual, psychological, physical, emotional, and social components of a person. I have also found that a combination of psychological and spiritual tools help bring about significant growth and change. Providing quality client care is my priority.

I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Nebraska.
